One New Heartbeat, Inc. Provides Free Support Services for Families Impacted by Stockton Shooting
Natomas, CA — December 02,2025 - Following the tragic shooting in Stockton, One New Heartbeat, Inc. has launched immediate no-cost emotional support services for victims, families, and community members.
The nonprofit is offering free virtual support groups, one-on-one sessions, healing circles, and trauma-informed crisis support to help individuals process the emotional impact of the event. Bilingual support in English and Spanish is also available.
“These families and neighbors are experiencing unimaginable trauma,” said Waynette Brock, CEO of One New Heartbeat, Inc. “Our role is to ensure they have compassionate support, accessible care, and a safe space to begin healing without any financial burden.”
To sustain these free services during this community crisis, the organization is asking the public for support.
“Every donation helps us continue providing care to families who need us now more than ever,” Brock said.
Donations directly fund facilitators, crisis staff, interpretation, outreach, and healing spaces.
